Beach hockey is an exciting variation of field hockey, new to Australia. Beach Hockey Australia is dedicated to expanding the sport around the country. For many Australians the beach is synonymous with leisure and pleasure and an integral part of their culture.

Beach hockey is played within an inflatable pitch set on sand. It has enjoyed success around the world but not, until recently been promoted in Australia. Beach Hockey Australia has run highly successful tournaments over the last two years. Our vision is to expand the sport nationally and to give the opportunity to people of all ages and abilities to participate in this exciting new sport.
