Let's play ball

Beach Hockey is a short but intensive game played in loose sand in a taped court or inflatable pitch. A small inflatable ball is used with modified sticks.

The sport requires speed, agility, and good ball-handling skills, as the sandy surface can make it more challenging to move quickly and control the ball. Beach hockey is popular  around the world and is often played as a recreational activity or in competitive leagues and tournaments.

Beach Hockey Australia respectfully acknowledges the traditional owners of the lands throughout Australia where we play beach hockey. We pay our respects to elders, past, present and emerging.
